Statement of Faith

WHAT WE BELIEVE

These are the foundational truths that shape who we are and how we live. We stand firmly on the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Holy men of God spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures are our final authority for faith, doctrine, conduct, and Christian living. We embrace both the Old and New Testaments, with the New Covenant revealed through Jesus Christ serving as our guide for life and ministry.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21

THE GODHEAD

We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and one in essence. God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified, risen from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and coming again. The Holy Spirit is the divine Helper, Comforter, Teacher, and Empowerer of believers.

John 1:1-14, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16-17, Philippians 2:6

MAN, SIN, AND REDEMPTION

We believe mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam's sin, mankind fell from fellowship with God and inherited a sinful nature. All people have sinned and are in need of salvation. Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil and redeem mankind through His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is God's gift to humanity and is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 3:8

SALVATION AND THE NEW BIRTH

We believe that repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are essential for salvation. Every person must experience the New Birth to enter the Kingdom of God. Through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, believers receive eternal life and become new creations in Christ.

John 3:3-7, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 5:12

WATER BAPTISM

We believe water baptism by full immersion is a command of the Lord Jesus Christ for all believers. Baptism is a public declaration of faith and symbolizes the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12, Acts 8:36-39

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is available to every believer. This empowering experience is distinct from salvation and equips believers to be effective witnesses for Christ. We believe speaking in other tongues is the initial biblical evidence of receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe the gifts of the Spirit are active today and that God continues to move through signs, wonders, miracles, prophecy, healing, and supernatural demonstrations of His power.

Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:1-7, Mark 16:17-18, 1 Corinthians 12

SANCTIFICATION AND HOLY LIVING

We believe that holiness is God's standard for every believer. Sanctification begins at salvation and continues throughout the believer's life through the work of the Holy Spirit and obedience to God's Word. We are called to live lives that honor Christ and reflect His character.

Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 1 Peter 1:15-16

DIVINE HEALING

We believe divine healing was provided through the atoning work of Jesus Christ and remains available today. Healing is ministered through prayer, faith, and the laying on of hands. We believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that miracles, signs, and wonders continue in the Church.

Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, James 5:14-15, 1 Peter 2:24

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and the habitation of God through the Spirit. The mission of the Church is to glorify God, make disciples, preach the Gospel, win souls, equip believers, demonstrate God's power, and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the earth. We are committed to raising up believers who are firmly established in the Word of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, passionate about reaching the lost, and active in demonstrating the love and power of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20, Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 1:8

THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the dead in Christ will rise, and believers who remain will be caught up to meet the Lord. Jesus Christ will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will establish His righteous reign.

Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 20:6

HEAVEN, HELL, AND ETERNITY

We believe Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. We believe Hell and the Lake of Fire are real places of eternal separation from God for those who reject His salvation. Every person will spend eternity either in the presence of God or separated from Him. Therefore, we are committed to proclaiming the Gospel so that all may have the opportunity to receive eternal life through Jesus Christ.

John 14:1-3, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:1-8, Hebrews 9:27
